The New Inn, Norton Lindsey is the winner of the Pub of The Year 2023 competition for the “Heart of Warwickshire” region awarded by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
The Heart of Warwickshire region comprises 150 pubs which are judged on categories such as quality of beer and cider, furnishings, cleanliness, service, welcome, offering and atmosphere.
Warwickshire’s first community-owned pub has a strong community focus and supports local groups and hosts local events including regular quiz nights raising funds for charities such as the Air Ambulance. “Community focus” is one of the factors considered by CAMRA judges.
CAMRA scores contestants on alignment with CAMRA principles such as providing a range of beer styles and strengths. The New Inn offers a choice of six cask ales as well as a selection of lagers, ciders, stout and other drinks.
